We arrived in Mendozza in the morning and were quite upset that we had missed the bike tour around the wineries, but were able to do the hostel bus tour so we went and visited a chocolate liquer factory and tried baileys liquer and their home made chocolate! We then went to two wineries including one organic one which was really cool...although allowed us to realise we dont like red wine!!

That evening we stayed and had a BBQ at our hostel which included beef and more beef...when asked if they had any chicken they laughed saying Chicken is no BBQ food...who would have thought!!

The next morning we got awoken with all of our phones, ringing, vibrating and buzzing with very scared parents wanting to know where we were and told us there was a huge earthquake just erupted in Chile which was felt where we were...we didnt know whether to go as we had a bus there that evening but at the bus station they said it was fine...so off to Santiago we went...
