Temples by tuk tuk:
Cost $15 for the day starting at 5am for the sunrise. Buy your Angkor ticket on the way in for $20 for the day or $40 for 3 days. They take a photo of you to print on your ticket (not attractive at 5am!) I watched the sunrise in the Angkor wat complex with the sun rising behind the temple. The reflections in the water were lovely. It is a long day! By 2 o'clock I was done! Although that is 9 hours of templing if you start a sunrise! Your ticket is valid until 5.30 so you can have a break and come back later to watch the sunset i believe. Similarly if you arrive the day before your visit, buy your ticket that day and it can be used after 5pm to watch the sunset but will not count as a day.
Top tip: Remember what your tuk tuk/driver looks like!!! I had a very awkward 10min wandering up and down through the 50 or so tuk tuks hoping my driver would recognise me! Only then did I realise he had a soft toy monkey attached to his tuk tuk purely for identification purposes!
