Visiting Nuremberg was quite a last minute decision but we thought it would be an interesting place to visit for the day, as well as breaking up our journey to Prague.
We arrived there in the early evening so after checking into the hostel we went out for dinner and a couple of cocktails in the main square. The next morning we wandered around the town and joined the growing crowds in the square to watch the church clock chime at 12 o'clock. It was a lovely change from the bigger cities as it felt quite old fashioned and more cosy! As we weren't there for long we just walked around rather than studying the map, in doing so we came across the imperial castle which was a great viewpoint over the city. After lunch it was time to head back to the hostel, grab our bags and once again head to the station.
Next stop... Prague!
