Not much to update really. I've now moved packing sheds and also changed from night shifts to day shifts so can only work one job at a time. The day shifts are a killer, as I start at 6am and finish around 16:30. The good thing is I only work 2-3 days a week packing and pick for the rest of the week. Also, the Renmark shed packs lemons, limes, grapefruits and all types of oranges (I'm going to be a pro packer by the end of the season). I seem to spend most of my time at the Renmark Plaza, endlessly wandering round the small selection of shops for something to do. The good news is I now know my way around the shops and know where to find things such as Tim Tams, sweets and chocolate(the important things of course). Nights here are now reaching as low as -3˙, I didn't realise Australia got that cold. Never rely on TV adverts or soaps to predict a country's weather. the program Neighbours never appears to show signs of winter) The picture i have posted is this weeks forecast, I dont think there will be much picking work this week. The highlight of my week was seeing a live kangaroo jumping in my picking row. The tractor driver told me that kangaroos don't like Sheila's and now I'm a bit wary. On my next day off I'm thinking of going to Mildura which is about 120km away. I will update you soon.
