We left Okamkuejo and headed for Grootberg campsite. We stopped in Kamanjab for fuel and realised that we had a massive thorn in our tyre. The local men tried to fix it (for an astanoical price) and we found out later that this was not totally successful! We arrived at the campsite just after half past 2. It was really hot but the campsite was absolutely amazing. There were only 3 pitches on the whole site. Each site had it's own toilet (with a view), shower, kitchen area, and Braai, and a 'donkey'. This is something that heats the water.
Up the hill side there was a plung pool. We had gin and tonics on the balconey by the pool watching the sun set. Perfect, although I am not very good a pouring small measures!
We cooked our evening meal on the braai which was wonderful. We had roasted veg and couscous. Nice and simple and very tasty.
