Hi Alll Am in Bangkok at the mo and it is very different to Nepal as it is such a big city and very busy. Have been on two tours, one to see the the temples and another one to see the floating market, the bridge on the river kwai and the tiger temple which was really good. The tigers are very tame and you can have your photos taken with them while touching them, smile sweetly. I asked to have a photo taken with me, the monk and the tiger and unexpectedly he put the tigers head on my lap and then the helper took a photo. I think it is the only one place you can get so close to tigers. With the younger cubs they are training them so they can put them back into the jungle and they will be able to defend themselves, but the older ones will always have to be cared for as they would not know what to do in the wild. Am in Chiang Mai now and doing a two day trek where I will trek along mountain tracks, pass waterfalls and pass a tribal village and that is where I will be staying overnight. I will also have a ride on an elephant and go bamboo rafting and then on the 15th I fly to Koh Samui for about 5 days near the sea which will be nice.
