Hi all I arrived late yesterday evening in Katmandu airport safe and sound and then got a taxi to my youth hostel. After that went for a nice long sleep as was very tired. Today the weather has been nice and hot and I went to visit some temples, a monastry and the zoo which was all very interesting. Today also was New Years Day and the nepalese people have been teaching me to say happy new year, hi and yes in their language which is fun. Sunday I start my trekking trip on the Annpurna range for 3 weeks which I am looking forward to and will update my journal after that. Love Gemma
