Angela's Escape from the Rat Race
I've extended my time in Atlanta because I'm having such a good time of it! I've seen and done loads of stuff, and yet I've hardly scratched the surface of the place!
I had a cool day at Georgia Aquarium, which is the largest in the world. Touched a live star fish, an anemonie and a stingray - loved it! They have a VAST 'wall of fish' there, where I could have sat for hours, it was facinating.
Walked through Centenial Olympic Park, which is a pretty cool place to chill out. Visited Underground Atlanta, 'the city beneath the city' - bought some cheesey souveneers as you do! Went by the heart of CNN broadcasting, checked out Little Five Points, which is a bit like Camden, and a heap of other stuff.
Climbed to the top of Stone Mountain the other day - that was awesome! The trek nearly killed me in the heat, even though it's only something like a mile and a quater up the mountain face - well worth it though. You get such a great view from up there, and everything is so green!
Anyway, there's so much to do here, so I'm not heading to Chicago till Thursday now (origionally I was going to be leaving today). I'm getting the train, so I've got a day and a half of travelling through various States! I stop in Washington DC for a bit, and then finally arrive in Chicago on Saturday morning! Should be good :)
Well, I'll love you and leave you for now 'cause I'm off to the imax cinema in a bit. Love to all. Byeeeeeeeee!
