Gaz brought me a cup of tea (on his birthday bless him!) and he opened his birthday cards. The steward had decorated the door to our cabin with a birthday card, picture of a cake etc., which I thought was a lovely touch - not sure Gaz was too impressed though!
Went for buffet breakfast and then headed to Jeeves lounge for the Beatles name that song - we got 15 out of 20 - not too bad but there were two teams who won - they both got 20 out of 20! Had a couple of beers at the bar whilst we listened to the Progressive Trivia - this apparently had been going for 3 days (not non stop of course! lol!!!) between two teams.
Went back to the cabin - Gaz wanted to check his emails as we had about 10 minutes of internet left.
Went for a lovely Jacuzzi in the inside hot tub in the gym, nice and relaxing. Went back to our cabin and got ready to go to the Beatles show in the theatre at 6.30pm. The show was really good!
Went back to the cabin and got changed as it was "Elegant" night and went to the restaurant for dinner. We both chose the broccoli soup with aged Wisconsin cheese and for main we both had the Chateaubriand - we both agreed it was the best meal we had had on this ship! After this the waiters gathered at our table with a slice of lemon cake with a candle in and sang Happy Birthday to Gary! It's not every day you get to celebrate your birthday in the middle of the pacific ocean! Well not when you live in England anyway!!!
