Every now and again our travels hit a new high point and last night was one of then. After a morning walking tour with the Royal Palace as the highlight, we had an easy afternoon,
On the way out we went up to the rooftop again to have a pre night out drink. The view over Madrid was marvellous.
We then taxied to Corral De La Moreria for our dinner and Flamenco show. The restaraunt itself is worth a visit as the service was warm and the atmosphere intimate.
At 9 PM the players came onto a small stage in the corner right in front of us. They created the feeling of a small traditional room by sitting the musicians around the back edges of the stage.
The Flamenco was mesmerising and the rhythm of the dance drew us in as we watched a very skilled and proud performance. We enjoyed a very succulent pork dish with the best sangria I have had.
