Beth Hey Gaz, Was really really great to see you in Hoi An - what an amazing surprise and am so so grateful to helen for spotting us, would have been really gutted if we had missed each other. Was lovely to spend a couple of days together as well. Have been to Delat since we last saw each other - realy liked it - especially the cool climate and beautiful countryside. In busy Saigon at the mo, going to Cu Chi tunnels tomorrow then of to Cambodia up the Mekong delta. Enjoy Hanoi, def do the halong bay trip, its great fun and really relaxing. Love Beth

Pops Hi Son Mum & I Have not heard from you for a few days. Guess you & H are busy with that business of getting her stuff sorted out after the little thief incident. And of course preparing for the visit of Naomi. Got a good photo of you & Naomi & me with my new big club. Played 18 on Monday--not well but enough to put the squeeze on Kenny & take his fiver. Stakes now up to a fiver from £2. Thought of my coaches words & putted to victory. Played another 9 on Tuesday at Hersham but did not start driving well untill hole 7. Pared that birdied 8 bogey 9. Not bad--- Hope you & H are good and I'm sure you are looking forward to Naomi's visit. Stay safe Pops X PS I thought at least one photo of you would be on your site by now. Katy helloooo just been reading up on your progress, bad news about vital possessions thieves - hope all is now resolved. little news from here i'm afraid, weather is now shocking - back to british summertime as we know it best. spent last week in brussels finalising things, includuing buying a car and driving it back. can't say it didnt take a bit of getting used to, with the gear stick etc not on the side it should be! hectic but very productive time over there, with much help from the parents. now back in england for 3/4 weeks before i go for good. getting very excited about it all now. plus have found a friend of a friend from notts who's also moving out there, so i'm meeting up with her next week. it's not an option that we dont get along as far as i'm concerned! said bye to bets last week, and best mate laura from bordo at notts too. getting rather sad far too early! anyway i'll leave you to it, take care love katy xxx

Nay Hey you two, Im sitting in my office with the will to live being sucked out of me. i finish in 15 minutes. The air conditioning is humming away tricking my body into thinking its cold, and when I walk outside its like getting out of an aeroplane in a hot country... which brings me on to my news that I will be seeing you in 2 weeks!! Can't wait to be out there with you guys. I just wanna remember this feeling when I am away and appreciate the goodness of travelling. hope you are both well and are enjoying the islands, dont get too brown before I get there! love n xx

len Hi Gaza . On holiday from 2m. Computer going away for a health check and info to be loaded onto new flat screen & box. Whooee. Will be able to use the new gaget you gave me--fits straight into the front of the new tower---Much easier than screabbling around on the floor to connect to the back of the maching. Seeing Emma this afternoon she looked quite relaxed last night but now its over she is keen to be back in NZ. Told her we are all going down to see her next year in Feb. More e mails after my holiday but have mobile will still be on for emergencies. 07768-855917. Taking golf shoes just in case -- maybe play a few holes if poss. Should rest my arm though. Katy hiiiii gaz! firstly, a big apology for not having got in touch sooner - im rubbish. great to read the journals - as few as they are ;) - it sounds like you're having a fantastic time and has successfully made me very jealous. got a 2:1 hurrah! since i've been home i've been very busy, been out to brussels twice the last 2 wks - managed to finally sort a flat and also really liked what i've seen on the city so far (luckily!). had scottish peter and katy here this past week too, which has been brilliant - katy was here for an environmental/recycling entrepreneurship conference in london, still on that sustainable development you'll be pleased to hear!!! anyway, enough of the babbling, take care, send helen my best too lots of love katy xxx

Dad Good morning Son. Not sure if your e mail is up and running yet so message board is good. Hope you & H are well. Are you still waking up to the sound of the ocean or have you now moved on? I played 27 holes with Bob yesterday at Pyrford GC-Bob's invitation day. 9 holes Greensomes stableford in the morning followed by 18 better ball S F. in the pm. Short bit on my game. First hole par 3 160. Captain BOB in the water on the right. Me pulled a 5 iron left over gorse trouble onto next fairway. Bob has to play my ball blind shot over gorse & gets it above the hole on edge of green about 30 feet downhill. I HOLE THE PUTT. Next hole par 5 similar. Bob in rough plays my ball up fairway I miss green left another blind shot to green. Gets it to 15 feet--I hole the putt. Was very hit & miss off the tee More Miss --Putted out of my skin. Back to the Driving range to sort it out. Forgot my coaches words--swing easy--get them on the greens. Emma up north at a friends wedding--Back today or tomorrow when she goes down to Somerset to see the house. She goes back to NZ this Thursday--Can't believe it has come around so soon. Amy has promotion in her job and a good pay rise. I am on holiday in Cyprus from Saturday 15th July--Back Sunday 30th July--so if you don't hear from me you will know the reason. Papa Hey Gaza Heard fromMum that your e mail is playing up. Guessed as much as I had not heard a thing for a week or two. Getting ready for the golf with Bob on Saturday. Left arm & elbow very sore after playing on Monday. Vanessa gave arm a massage yesterday and it got a little easier. Will have to wear the arm bandage -- it will help me get through the 27 holes---got a buggy to help as well. You take it easy in that hammock by the sea. You & H Stay Safe---luv ya pops.
