I woke up to the worst smelling room. It was so disgusting I had to get out it was that bad. I went and had a shower and wen I got back I opened the window and waited for Chris to get ready. The sun was shining and it was time to explore.
Our first stop was the Starbucks that was opposite out hostel. We found out that the first ever one had started in Seattle. Of course we had to get a coffee. Except when we walked out with our drinks a guys said you don't know this isn't the first!! It's around the corner next to the famous market. We watched the fish mungers that chucks fish around! One guy was picked out to catch it. We walked along the river and up broad street to the museum area.
We decided to get the Seattle city pass. Starting at the Pacific Science Centre, that had the Tutankhamen exhibit. It was really good, and glad we went and saw it. We also saw an IMAX show of the history behind the young king. I had learnt a lot. It was pretty cool to see the replica of the Tutankhamen body.
The other exhibits were nothing to write home about. I think I have had enough of Dinosaurs and Butterflies!
I had a make your own pizza I could have anything on my pizza for one price, it was a bargain and really nice.
The second place on the city pass was the EMP Museum, it was about music and film. With exhibits on Hendricks and other massive music stars. Horror and science fiction movies also had their own exhibit. It was a really good interactive museum! Played some drums guitar and bass, and even done a little mixing! "Slapping the base" We were in here for hours! We left as it was closing.
When we left the weather wasn't so good. It was pissing down with rain again - because I was only in a jumper we jumped on the sky tram to downtown. Our hostel was then only a short walk away.
We didn't do much tonight went out and have Mexican for dinner, it was horrible. Won't be having that again any time soon.
Thank god the smelly guys had left the room and it smelt much bette!
