OMG! Today was my favourite day of the trip so far! It started off by Mum and I waking up at 7am to go to Macy's to get my Santa photo. Once we got there, we went straight through! There was no line! Today was a museum day. We had light showers so decided to visit the Guggenheim and MET (metropolitan museums for art). I especially enjoyed seeing the works of Picasso and Kandinsky! We have studied these artists a little with kindergarten and I picked up some more lesson ideas! It was amazing to see some of these works up close. We walked down to the subway and went to Battery Park, which is where we caught a ferry to the Statue of Liberty. We waited in the line forever because we had to go through security! Today we had one of our funniest days yet. We started off with a long walk into Chelsea Markets where we had a coffee (the best coffee we have had over here) and a croissant. Today we had a big day. We started the day with the subway to the bike hire place. We hired bikes and our tour guide, Dan, took us around Central Park. We saw the beautiful park with over 280 different bird species and 30 million people there a year.
