Today was a museum day. We had light showers so decided to visit the Guggenheim and MET (metropolitan museums for art). I especially enjoyed seeing the works of Picasso and Kandinsky! We have studied these artists a little with kindergarten and I picked up some more lesson ideas! It was amazing to see some of these works up close. The buildings themselves are incredible, let alone the art works inside! We went back to the Christmas markets near Central Park for a late lunch of fresh tacos and the best voted (by us) hot chocolate! It feels like we are going from meal to meal around this city. We met the Kensitts for happy hour in their hotel and walked with them to Bryant Park Christmas markets then dinner at the Soup Nazi! Unfortunately it was closed so home on the subway for cereal and toast as it was 10pm by then!
