Another awesome day by the beach - this time in Nha Trang in Vietnam. After a long but somewhat decent sleeper train from Saigon, we reached the coast this morning and spent the day on an empty beach unknown to tourists. Basically we spent the day eating, sunbathing, swimming in the amazing sea or napping on a hammock. I could easily get used to this!
I have uploaded pictures from Cambodia- didn't have time for captions but basically its in chronological order: Siem Reap and Angkor Wat, then Phnom Penh (S-21 prison and killing fields, plus the local meal with tarantula eating), then Sinouhkville (still unsure on the spelling) by the sea, with the deserted island and such.
Vietnam so far has been just as good as Cambodia - After crossing into Vietnam (the border was literally a tiny barrier lol), our first stop was Chau Doc just after the border. We took motorcycles up a moutain to enjoy the sunset in a hammock with local beer (a bit foggy though so we didn't see much of a sunset, but it was still awesome). Crazy insane driving in Vietnam, there are no rules. Perfect description of organised chaos, really. The traffic gets even more insane in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), you have to be there to truly appreciate how crazy it is! Crossing the road literally invovles risking your life. In Saigon, we visited an ex Viet Cong camp, went through the old VC tunnels (well I didn't - not too big of a fan of small places!). Oh yes, and I totally fired live rounds on a M-16 (pictures to come!).
Then we hopped onto a sleeper train, and here we are in Nha Trang, the beach city. Its been great just relaxing and not doing much for a change, tomorrow after a bit of a lie in we are going to try some local mud baths J

Olivier Hawesome indeed! and your blog is a really great thing: gives me the impression of being there. I definitely need to see the pictures of you shooting with an M16: mieux que Pilir!
Camillle Nice to see all those pictures . Really interesting Gaëlle. We can imagine how noisy it must be in busy towns. I hope Pierre will have a look at S-21 ... to understand how awfull it was . He's seen the film with his history teacher . Looking at tarentula... I think I'm not ready . Waiting for next comments ..and pictures ...
