Our tour this afternoon took us around the CBD of Frankfurt, the financial capital of Germany. The new buildings are complimentary to the old, and I was surprise how attractive Germany's 5th largest city was. The laws in Frankfurt say that all offices must have natural light, hence the slim buildings.
It seemed to be easier to eat Italian food than German, but we found a cute bar / restaurant and Max ate the biggest sausage of his life, and Emerson wet her lips with German beer.
The chain stores over here are massive, Zara is over 4 floors as is Esprit, as well as there home stores.
Spent the early evening in the shopping area of the CBD, found the Apple store, Gummi bear store and eventually the supermarket.
We look forward to heading to Paris in the morning, but have really enjoyed our quick stop in Frankfurt.
