After touring Cambodia missing an important person, today was the day we would meet up. I had to get up at 6.30am and jump into a cab to Hanoi airport. Waking up this morning and I still feel really sick :( not good but I am determined to go to the tunnels. I went to breakfast and had a piece of bread before jumping on the bus. It was an hour and a half to the tunnels and I think I slept most of it. We got there and I was dying, so hot and feeling not so good! I did try and listen though! Time for the big city :) Woke up at homestay and went for a nice cold shower to wake me up! I then went for breakfast in which we had a bread roll and an egg! My type of breakfast, plain and easy! Time to head for Vietnam :) on the bus in the morning we heard about the girls late night and they were covered in ash from the fire! The bus to the border was only 4 hours. At the border we had to get out and carry our own bags across. The sun was shining and it was very hot. The first check point was to get out of Cambodia. Beach, boat, beer and breakfast. Breakfast on the beach eating eggs and bread was a great way to start the morning. We then went to the pier and got on the old, wooden boat. I have no idea how it floated and it was started by a battery just sitting on the deck and an old motor. We had around 45 minutes until we reached the coral reef.
