So.. we're in Sydney at the moment! We've actually already been to Byron and Nimbin already but I'm VERY behind. We've been in Sydney for about 4 weeks and it's been amazing. When we first arrived we did all the tourist things. We visited gardens and went down to Circular Quay etc. We went to the Aquarium (and went in a tiny boat with sharks beneath us! Jamie would have lvoed it.) We're still yet to do the zoo and also the iMax to see 'Under the Sea' in 3D which i'm VERY excited about. We've been to the cinemas which are much better than English cinemas. We saw the Diving Bell and the Butterfly in a small arty cinema which was quite alternative but we've also done the bigger cinema to see a new comedy with Russell Brand in which i seriously recommend! I met up with Tricia and Michael and they took me to Shark Cove which is beautiful and had a lovely day there! I'm going round on Tuesday again to hopefully speak to Mum and Nanny over skype and see little Damon!!! I can't wait. Bee and Brendan have welcomed me and been amazing. I feel totally at home out here and can seriously understand why people would move out here. Bee organised loads for when we arrived and we went to the Opera House to see Swan Lake which was incredible. I absolutely loved it and was very jealous of the dancing - as well as having a slight pang about not playing in an orchestra! We saw the didjeridoo (spelling?) as well which was really interesting and mum and dad would have lvoed it. As well as the National Chamber Orchestra's last concert before the tour where i met the orchestra afterwards! We went to see Billy Elliott and the Rocky Horror show which are two of my fav musicals and also went to see Maroon 5 and went to the V fest! so we've been really busy!! We are going to also see the Archibald Prize of portraits this week which i have been craving to see since i've arrived so i cannot wait. Of course we have been shopping lots (mainly window..) and been to most of the markets now (which beat English markets hand down) with live music, food stalls and INCREDIBLE jewellry and clothes! The night life is amazing and lots of our friends have been out here - Laura is travelling wiht us at the moment and we also met up with two of Tors best friends and we've all been having so much fun. We've got aour favourite bars and clubs now but don't worry we're beeing sensible as well! :) I will update Sydney when we leave.. Xx
