So.. we're in Sydney at the moment! We've actually already been to Byron and Nimbin already but I'm VERY behind. We've been in Sydney for about 4 weeks and it's been amazing. Nimbin was just a daY trip that we were recommended to do when we were in Byron. We got a 'Happy Bus' their as it was the cheapest way. It had no air conditioning, drove through rivers and through forests and the main guy had shaved only half of his facial hair off. There were stickers all over the bus and the seats were sticky! Byron is just amazing. I lvoe it! It's pretty small compared to Sydney but we had gorgeous weather and it was our first real experince of actual backpacking! Our backpackers was pretty cheap but we loved it. It had hammocks in the garden, was v clean, music playing in the evening and BBQs. It was about a 10 second walk from the main beach which was pretty secluded for the main beach as it was in a little cove and it was really green. We were only a 5 minute walk ...

We were only in Florence for one week but we packed a lot in and it was amazing to be in another happening city again. We visited all the sights that I lvoe and have studied. I actually got really excited about seeing all the paintings and architecture that I studied for A levels again. For half term we visited Bologna. We mainly visited it because it had lots of things to do, was a student town and was easy to get to by train (and cheap!) We basically had three days and after full on lectures every day and lots and lots of culture we wanted something completely different!
