Hi. Its good fridya today so everything is closed and its pretty boring here. Feeling quite tired because we went to a few bars last night with six paratroppers (who paid for everything) which is great!

Ive kinda planned my Thailand trip (the part where Im on my own) I read quiye abit of the lonely planet book that I was told is a must for Thailand so pretty much clued up (I think)

So I arrive in Phuket and get a bus across Thailand to Surat Thani and then get a boat to Ko Samui and then to Ko Pha-Ngan where there are some excellent dive sites. Not really quite sure how im going to do this but apparently you just "find your way" (so im told by some hippy guy I met a few days ago)

Not feeling nervous so it should be fine. Also not sure where to stay but I like not being too planned, it means im free to change plans as I go!

Oh yesterday went up the observation tower in Sydney (very interesting) but again, its just a huge tower and its not really a beautiful city and I could barely see the Opera House through the huge buildings but it was ok!

Also went on Oz trek, which is a simulator ride which takes you around Australia. They take photos of youi before you get on but obviously I never buy them because IM ON MY OWN which makes me look quite sad in photos. However, a really nice Irish family invited me into their photo saying "we always wanted a girl" because they had four boys!! Ha Ha!!

Apart from that I just hang out at the Chinese and Botanical gardens and walk the streets, there really isnt that much to do in Sydney (you could do it in a day)

So tomorrow is my last proper day, so should consider packing up my stuff and chucking some items away as apparently they are not suitable for Thailand. Allison- those grey cardiagn/jumper things I bought DO NOT keep me warm- Im going to have to buy a hoodie or something- im constantly freezing- its time to give in!

Well. I think thats it. I really do talk alot of rubbish- sorry!!
