We arrived at Victoria Falls on Friday lunch time, pitched up our tents and headed straight for the falls for viewing. As we entered the area we were soaked in spray even before we managed to see it!
The views were amazing (photos up soon!) and we spent 3 hours walking from one end to the other.
The following day Michelle went off for a full day of white water rafting on the mighty Zambezi River. I bottled it as you all know how much I hate being on things in the water. The rafting took place through 23 rapids (one of which was far too dangerous to attempt so they had to go around it) The raft flipped 4 times and two of the girls on the raft were almost knocked out after being smacked in the face with oars!
On the Sunday I went to walk with Lions (Michelle bottled it as she doesnt like walking with things that dont talk a language!) I touched a male and female and two cusb -photos up soon for you to appreciate it! We had then both booked a half day adrenalin which consisted of us both bascially throwing ourselves off of a cliff 3 times. We did a flying fox, a zip line which was 120 metres above the a gorge on the Zambezi River which went at 80 miles per hour and then the big one - the Gorge Swing. This was also 120 metres up, with a 70 metre free fall before a 125 metre swing! Best thing we have ever done!
This was all followed by a boat cruise down the Zambezi drinking African beer by the bucket load. When we hopped off we ran into An African tribe and danced down the river with them. Michelle then won the award for the best African Dancer as voted by the entire truck.
This was by far one of the best stops of the trip!
