Little Chloe's intrepid traveller guide!
Oh . . . My . . . . god . . . . I went paragliding! It was amazing, was ABSOLUTELY PETRIFIED when we got to the top of this mountian/hill thing of 640m (doesnt sound like alot, but IT IS WHEN UR UP THERE!!) Have taken loads of photos, will post them within the next few days. That was the scariest bit! The 2nd scariest bit was that my tandem guy only spoke spanish. . . . The third scariest bit was actually going UP this huge hill thing, on the tiniest path youve ever see, in a 4X4! The driver was going really close to the edge the whole way up, was NOT 'exciting'! By this point i was dying to get that parachute on and jump off the mountain so i didnt have to go back down in the car of death. . . Was tempted to chicken out when i got up there, didnt think i could do it! But when youve got someone strapped to your back, telling you to run, theres not much you can do really! The first 10 seconds were absolutely amazing. Your running ( and in my case also screaming) and then suddenly your moving your feet but theres nothing to walk on. Its the weirdest feeling. Took about 5 mins for me to settle into it. Its weird coz your kind of like sitting down, and theres these gusts of wind which pull you up. Was GREAT! Would definitely recommend it, i guess its skydiving next!! ha ha. Afterwards we all went back to this nearby campsite and had a drink or two. Ended up staying till 11! From 3! We had a big asado (bbq) outside, with me, carolina-from BA, Cecilia- from Holland, John from america and all the instructors. Twas great fun. All sitting around this huge table outside drinking and chatting! Mainly in spanish . . .! Have photos of this too! ANYWHO, now about to go off horseriding! So ive gotta go. Off to Cordoba tonight i think, if i can get a bus! We'll see how that goes! Besos, Chloe xxxxxxxxx
