Another hawker delight. Pearl barley hot soya drink. Bubble drink :) I love soya. Love warm soya milk. Loved the bubbles (gummy type beans) of pearl barley. So for me a winner.

Went hawker tasting today all over singapore. Just sharing dishes. Black carrot cake Singapore favourite at the hawker markets. Not what I was expecting but really tasty It's radish soaked in corn flour, black vinegar and soy and egg. The white carrot cake just has no soy. It has the texture of a soft potato which sounds weird but isn't. The soy flavour is really strong so it's quite salty. Perfect after big night out.

Rambutan breakfast. Just found them in the market. Perfect breakfast. Like a more flavourful lychee.

Home cooked meal. Meat. Red wine. Cheese. Three things we havent had much of in 3 months :) Frankie and Kim rock :) Gorgeous caprese salad starter, massive doorstop perfectly cooked medium rare steaks and salt and pepper chips. (chips tossed in this when hot :)) Followed by cheese platter. Divine. Thank you again :)
