Sarah's European Adventure
This was my second time in Paris, the other being when I was a senior in high school, but it was great going back because I didn't feel pressured to make sure I got done all of thetouristy attractions. Instead I took the time to shop with friends and eat crepes in a sidewalk cafe. I did however get to go up to the top of the Eiffel Tower, which is so absolutely gorgeous and romantic at night.
It was quite a bit colder than it was in Spain, and I was once again reminded why it's good to be in the South of Europe. It was nice for a chance to be in a country where I wasn't supposed to know the language and could play the part of the dumb tourist who doesn't understand, though I do that in Spain too when vendors are bothering me.
I went to my new favorite art museum, the Musee d'Orsay, and got to see the best the impressionism has to offer. I didn't make it back to the Louve, so I supposed that 3 days in Paris is never enough, but a great way to spend a weekend!
