Day 18: Every town has a lookout, and Kununurra is no exception. So we head for the hill, and spy a look over this great little town.
Craig and I are very impressed with Kununurra and try to imagine ourselves living and working up here...who knows. We are definitely impressed!
We check out the Zebra Rock Gallery, hidden amongst the mango farms, which is a type of rock only found and mined here in the Kimberley.
Back at Kimberleyland, we have a quick swim and then we are away on our first 'tour' of our trip!
We get bussed to Lake Argyle and then we ride on a fast boat down the Ord River...all 55kms. Wow, wow, wow!!! What an amazing place. And the history of the dams and the positive impact this incredible man made engineering feat has had on the environment. A first I think! I highly recommend this tour. A wonderful experience.
What a day! Lock it in (the memory box) Eddie...
