Day 49: It's market day! We spend the morning at the CP markets (teeny) and I hold a python. We then head off for our trip to Darwin and 46kms later we are in the heart of the city. Day 48: Twenty-five kms of dirt gets us into the famous Litchfield NP. A massive NP with lots of swimming holes and waterfalls...and we are not disappointed. Our first stop is Wangi Falls...beautiful! But being Saturday and being so close to Darwin, it.is.packed! Fortunately, most people are at the shoreline, so we all swim out to the waterfall and enjoy the clear waters of this beautiful place. Day 47: This morning we decide to move spots. Last night the simeltaneous stereo of the TV's did all our heads in. And waking up to a nose full of smoke is not part of the plan. So I go to the big rig section and scope a good site, we throw everything into the van and move. We only park the van, as we are running late to get the car to the mechanic. Day 46: Today we went to The Territory Wildlife Park. This park is divided into three distinct habitats of the Top End, and has only animals, reptiles and birds from this region. It was a great day, and we all learnt a lot about the animals of the NT, and we were re-educated on a few animals we have seen on this trip. Day 45: Today is R&R and planning day. We say good bye to Anne and Bruce, and with the boys off hunting lizards, Craig and I have a coffee at the cafe in the CP. It's a nice time of relaxing and planning the next few days...plus organising a service for the car. We like these days, particularly if the boys are entertained (turns out they found the guest lounge with the TV), and we all have the opportunity just to chill out and not have to drive somewhere or...
