Day 52: We take a drive out to the South Alligator River, to see if we can spot any crocs...no success. But we can appreciate that they are out there, hiding in this big, silty river.
Craig is having a helicopter flight over Kakadu, so we drop him at the airport (yes...where there's a mine [uranium], there's an airport!) and watch him fly off for half an hour.
Then it's back to the van for lunch and a quick swim, before we head off to the Nourlangie Region.
This area is another great example of indigenous art that has been preserved and kept vandal-free for all of us to enjoy. And it's amazing. Each picture tells such special stories of the times.
A mini roast is enjoyed by all after a long day of adventures, followed by the State of Origin, streamed live into the pool area of the CP.
Couldn't ask for a better day!
