Another laid back weekend. I went along to a graduation party for children who attend an English school, a perfect opportunity for me as my Spanish is unfortunately still not up to scratch. We organised games for the children such as a timed treasure hunt, a tightrope walking competition and 'bite the bag', which actually turned out to be bite the cereal box. Met some cool people there and after me and some of the student teachers helping out headed out for a few drinks. We rocked up at a tightly packed bar called 'El Rey', grabbed a few cerveza's, and bumped into old friends (theirs obviously, not mine).
Sunday morning I slept in, relishing the break from early morning starts (or what I consider to be early morning starts at any rate) and later headed down to Chapultepec. On Sundays they close the road down Chapultepec and people occupy it with skateboards and bikes. It's really cool so I borrow Vanessa's bike and cycle around a bit feeling just like a local.
