Happy new year from down under!! Arrived in sydney on dec 14th. Me and Faye went our separate ways for a week. Faye headed to coogee beach whereas I met up with steve slumed it for a week in Kings Cross (the red light district). Spent our days chillin out on the different beaches around sydney such as Bondi and Manly (did you see us on GMTV??). After our first week we all met up and Jess's mum and Rich arrived. WE did lots of things like going to the opera house, harbour bridge, the quay, darling harbour, the rocks and paddys market.
Christmas felt very strange, there was no xmas tunes hardly..gutted!!!!! WE did celebrate in style tho by getting absolutely blotto on goon and jagerbombs. Jess nearly had two fights with girls and faye got thrown out of the bar.......all feeling festive obviously!!! However we did have great weather. WE spent xmas day at Taronga zoo with a turkey picnic wearing our xmas hats for the day!
Boxing day we ventured up to the blue mountians, which included a wildlife park where we got to hug a koala and stroke and feed kangaroos. So cute!!! WE went on the steepest railway in the world backwards and on a cable car.
Abi arrived. The next few days were spent doing touristy things and preparing for new years eve. Another picnic and a thirteen hour drinking session in the botanical gardens (lady McQuires Chair). Had a fantastic view of the boats opera house and the bridge and sat and watched the fireworks of the 75th anniversary.
Jess spent two days with her family before they left and Faye went on an oz tour with abi. One day we went to palm beach aka summer bay! WE visited Alf Stewarts surf club and swam in the sea.....watch out for the blue bottle jelly fish! We spent the next few days planning our drive down to melbourne, with a detour to canberra.
