Brianna and I finally arrived in Ireland. It was a 6 hour flight. It was long, but it wasn't too bad. The worst part was standing in the passport line for 2 hours. There were about 100 students or more on our flight and another flight that came in so it took awhile. Once we got through the line we met up with the people who were picking us up. We had to wait about another 2 hours before we could leave the airport for campus.
On our drive to campus we saw alot of great scenery. There are horses everywhere here and I love it! It wasn't as big a shock as I thought it would be to drive on the opposite side of the road, but I did think we were going to crash a few times!
The bus dropped us off right outside our dorm which was nice. We signed in and found out that Brianna and I are living in the same apartment. It's a 6 bedroom apartment with a common room and kitchen all to ourselves. We each have our own bathroom complete with shower. :) The only thing I don't really like is all of the spiders.
We unpacked and then decided to take a nap because we were absolutely EXHAUSTED! When we woke up we went grocery shopping. There is a grocery store right on campus, but the next time we go shopping we're going to try off campus and see if it's cheaper. After shopping we just hung out in the apartment because we were still pretty beat from the trip. Brianna made dinner which was fantastic! I was finally able to call home after trying to all day.
It wasn't a very exciting day, but it was only our first. I'm sure we'll be making friends soon. We can't wait until our roommates arrive!
Love and miss you all!
