FARFRUMWURKEN
Big glitzy resorts like you find in Cancun are pretty nice I must say, you get to dress up, and strut your finest by the pool making sure that everyone sees that new Rolex or gold chain that you bartered for at the local market. But there is something to say about 15' walls and your own private pool. Privacy these days is sometimes hard to come by and it's been really nice to have this place all to ourselves. Here we are at this point in our lives, sunny everyday, a warm inviting pool and very high walls, what else would you expect but hedonism at it's finest from two older people. We've kept the laundry to a minimum here inside the walls and it's actually very refreshing and liberating. Today the plan was to catch some rays and stay in the Casa, nice breakfast, tremendous lunch and another BBQ tonight with some local chicken/rice for dinner. We've been planning our travel arrangements for the balance of the week which will include a car rental from Target Car Rentals and side trips to Chichen Itza, Progreso and Telcheh to see a new condo development called Kinuh that's right on the ocean near Progreso. We're scheduled to meet Bob & Denise on Tuesday at 130 Degree Steakhouse, reportedly "the" best restaurant in Merida for dinner and talk with them about their permanent residency in Merida. For our evening entertainment, we've started to watch the mini-series, Billions on Netflicks.

David Love Love the strategically placed flower in "Fast Asleep"! The only Rolex you get in a market in Mexico is a knock-off!
Sandra How's your friend doing that fell & broke his hip? He ok? Gone home?
Angie Armstrong Ha! This sounds great! Your cruises were fascinating, but being on a ship so long must get tiresome, but a lovely CASA....ahhhh!
Los Federales Very high walls... very refreshing and liberating ... no laundry. Are you saying that you've gone commando in the casa?
