Happy New Year everyone!! This is the first Christmas I have spent away from home and I must say it was very different and a little on the hot side!! Today I went to the island of Racha Yai with a very nice trio of Italians. We took a speedboat over to the island where we stayed on the beach for the morning and could swim and have a wander. Kapong Tubing Safari Today I went to Kapong on a day trip to try out tubing down the rapids. I joined up with a family from Finland who were great company. The day consisted of: One hour elephant trekking Demonstration of rubber making Thai lunch at Kapong Garden Resort Trek to waterfall and swim Drink coffee from bamboo cup Tubing for 45 mins down the river.
