Starting off our road trip with a lunch at Pig Out in Nuvali. Loooved the Mussels Oh My and Spicy Clam Soup. It's kinda rainy but all's well. At least I'm not driving. :)

So we're here at Bantayan Island! Weeee! The trip going here was a little tiring (spent 4 hours on the bus & an hour in a ferry) but the beautiful views from the beautiful resort more than made up for it. We stayed at Maia's Beach Resort in the town of Santa Fe. It's a very picturesque place set by the sea. There's no beach per se, but you can go into the water to have a dip. So I'm here at the airport waiting for my friends. Soooo excited to hit the beach! It's gonna be a short flight to Cebu City, then a 2.5-hour bus ride & 45-min ferry ride to Bantayan Island. I haven't been there but it's been known as a quieter version of Boracay. Only downside to this weekend is that there's no TV at the resort. I'll miss the Monaco Grand Prix because of that. Oh well. It'll be the price I pay for a weekend I badly need to prepare myself for...

So I decided to start a travel blog. Not really sure how this would pan out since I just go to Singapore and Boracay most of the time. But there you go. Travel is travel. Who knows? This might inspire me to visit more places. So I guess I'll see you soon! -E.
