So we're here at Bantayan Island! Weeee! The trip going here was a little tiring (spent 4 hours on the bus & an hour in a ferry) but the beautiful views from the beautiful resort more than made up for it.

We stayed at Maia's Beach Resort in the town of Santa Fe. It's a very picturesque place set by the sea. There's no beach per se, but you can go into the water to have a dip. There's a nice pool area though, and lots of cottages to hang out on.

They have a restaurant/bar in the resort which cooks Filipino food, and one thing that really impressed us was their cooking! All the food we've tried are soooo yummy!

The waters of the sea are so calm in the afternoon and it's so fun shooting pictures of the view. This is definitely a photographer's dream place.

On the downside, there's no TV in any of the rooms in the resort! The place is also a bit far from the town so bring all necessary stuff when going here. You can't run into a store to buy if you forget something.

All in all, this place is highly recommended if you're looking for a place to just relax and slow down. Since there are no activities in the resort you'll definitely just focus on relaxing and enjoying the awesome views.
