So from what I remember about today it was a long day and quite strange as I hadn't quite settled in yet.
My morning was lonely, I hadn't met anyone in my building and SUSA class didn't start until 14:15 and I had missed the general information fair which apparently consisted of a hilarious police man called Patrick explaining the Swedish road signs (Which would be useful now that I have a bike, but we'll get to that).
So anyway I went to SUSA class where I met another 20 new people as well as falling in love with my gorgeous Swedish teacher (I wish I could attach a picture but there is a video of him singing on facebook somewhere). I met a friend during this class who I was lucky to find every day since, a tall Belgium girl named Camille. Even though we do not have SUSA together again I must message her so we can meet up some evening maybe for fika!
During Swedish class I asked a few girls what they're plans were for the evening and all of them seemed to be going to the welcome reception which involved a speech from the head of the school and the mayor as well as a lot of Swedish singing and a brass band (who were wonderful).
I met my first real friend on the way to this reception, a little Japanese girl named Mayu. We have met up a few times since and are planning a trip to Copenhagen castle very soon.
