Today we had a 'beach day'. I woke up really early on my sofa bed and saw the sun rise above the mountains that surround the Budva bay, the sun gleamed across the water leaving a striking view. Even at 6:30 there was still someone in the water!
We had breakfast and then we went down to the beach which mum and Nina had scouted out. We had to go down quite a lot of back roads and in the end it was quite a long walk especially as my flip flop have me a blister, dad did manage to get all of the spines out that morning though. The beach we went to was very busy but it was sandy and the sea was very nice and cooling just what we needed after the walk. We stayed there for a little bit and then me and dad walked back to the hotel while mum and Nina stayed at the beach. We had lunch at the hotel and we just relaxed for a couple of hours, I watched happy feet. At around 5 mum went to bed and dad,Nina and I all went into the old town and had a look around different restaurants. Dad would always walk off if anyone came up to him and tried to help because they were being too pushy. The irony is that the more we liked the look of the restaurant the longer we would stay so the more likely that someone would come up to us and ask us if we wanted anything. We then went back to the flat and I had a look on trip advisor to see which restaurants were good we then went back into the old town and I found a couple of the restaurants the one we chose was on a square that was quite secluded, it was really nice but the food was a little expensive for what it was. We then walked around the old town and we all got an ice cream, of course! We then went back to the hotel and to bed
