Today we left split and drove down to Budva in Montenegro, it was quite a long drive but I couldn't do much the state my foot was in anyway. The Croatian motorway had some fantastic views of both the sea and of imposing mountains. We had to pass through Bosnia to get to Montenegro and on the way we stopped of at Dubrovnik we didn't go into Dubrovnik but we stopped off at a view point overlooking the old town. To get to Budva we had to drive around a beautiful inlet which was like a salt water lake. There was a monestry on a island in the middle of the inlet. When we got into Budva we had to try and find our apartment, not as easy as it should have been, the gps coordinates that they had given us were wrong so we drove up and down the main road in Budva. When we finally got to the apartment we were all amazed it had two bedrooms a stunning balcony view of the Budva coast line and the old town. While mum and nina went down into the town to try and find the beach I had my foot soaked into some specialist 'sea urchin oil'. For supper mum bought some stuff from the market and cooked some pasta with goats cheese and peppers. We ate the food on the balcony and it was really nice as the sun was going down.
