After a quick walk around Kamloops last night (and a huge meal in a restaurant called 'Fric and Frac' ) we had a good nights sleep. Sat. Morning we were up even earlier as the journey was going to cover more ground.
Scenery from here got even more unbelievable as made tracks (haha) into the heart of the Rockies. Talked to a few passengers during the journey swapping stories and holiday details and all were jealous of our trip. Made our way through higher and higher mountains. We were meant to arrive in Calgary at about 8.30pm, but due to a problem on a freight train ahead (in which a carriage had to be removed from the track) our arrival was delayed until just after midnight. However because of the delay we were given an extra meal on board. All that meant only a few hours sleep until an early start again!
