DAY EIGHT Friday 13/05/2011
Sam decided that it was time I learnt about DSW (Discount show warehouse) and asked Aunt Cece to take us to a strip mall. To be honest it wasn't anything too incredibly spectacular but I appreciate what Sam was trying to show me... The shoe store however...
I walked in, thinking little of the place, but then I looked closer at prices. It was unfair of Sam to do this to me as I've been telling her in the past few days that I don't want to go shopping as... I will buy something... something that is not a part of my budget.
I dragged myself to the Sale section, thinking, at least do this for yourself and came across two paris of shoes that I've been searching all over Sydney for... for about half the price they normally would sell it for... mmm.
Needless to say I need to ship these back to Sydney to make sure I do not exceed the weight limit for on the way to Europe.
One thing I couldn't help but notice about the family was the diet that they had. We all know that I'm not the healthiest person, my HSC diet of Shapes and sushi and little to no exercise isn't something inspiring, but I didn't eat chicken nuggets and hot dogs and burgers every night. 'Pop' (or fizzy drinks-normally Diet Dr Pepper) was as regular as water to them and was given to them only a couple minutes before bedtime. They were energetic kids already, sleeptime would've been an interesting task I'm glad I didn't have to encounter.
