It's been some time since we've last updated, so let me quickly catch y'all up.
Eli and i finished our time in London rather smoothly. On Monday, our last day, we took the train into Waterloo and from there went to the Cabinet War rooms--the underground fortress Britain directed WWII from during the blitzkreig. From there we went to Knightsbridge where we tried to get into Amora--Britain's sex museum; complete with an orgasm tunnel, mannequins demonstrating every position possible, and toys dating from the beginning of time. We took a trip through Harrod's and finished with a beer and a kebab. Solid.
Our next destination was the Kennamer/Shapiro villa in the small tuscan town of Londa (www.villaluciano.com).
The next day we woke at an ungodly hour of 5 to go to the airport. We arrived at Milan and caught the train to "Firenze" aka Florence.
Arriving in Firenze around 4, Eli and I caught a panini at a cafe while we waited for the rest of the group (Dylan and his family: Frank, Tristen and Tessa; Sam and his family: Rich, Elaine and Jake; the Calderon family, and Jimmy)
Finally we all meet up and it's determined all 14 of us won't fit in the two small rented puegots. So all the guys plus Jake decide to take a train to Londa instead; where we would then catch a bus or car to the villa. Solid.
During the hour wait for our train, we take a supermarket stop and purchase a roll of salami, crackers, and six 1.5 liter wine bottles. solid. over the next hour and a half we commence to get absolutely s***faced. So much so that half of our party misses getting off at the Londa train station. Dylan, Jake and I post at the train station for a good 45 minutes while we waited for the rest of the crew. We continue to drink. Solid.
Eventually the rest of the guys come, and we call Rich and Frank to come pick us up. Somehow Sam, Jimmy and I miss the whole "getting in the car" bit, so we have to walk the supposed-to-be half hour walk to the villa. Of course, being s***faced, we miss the turn for Londa and continue down the road towards who-knows-where. Solid.
We walked for so long that I took a dip in the river along the freeway. A dip that soberly i would most definitely not have taken. Finally Rich found us along the side of the freeway and picked us up. The villa was quite the scene from what i remember. The guys had run up to the pool and Eli had thrown Tessa in with all her clothes on. Both Eli and Dylan proceeded to puke and pass out. Jake, Tessa and Jonny joined Jimmy and i in our vista bedroom; I think there was a lil bit of rough housing, but i'm not sure. Solid.
Jimmy and I woke up at 430 in the morning like, "Where the f*** are we?!?" so we went on a little journey through this 4 story 7 bedroom 3 kitchen mansion we stumbled upon.
This is just my version of the day/night.
Needless to say it was a great way to start our time in Italy. Solid.
