This is our second day at sea. We slept late each day; Joey made it to the Lido for food the first day but we missed it today... there is a "spring forward" each day on the transatlantic heading east. So sleeping late is easier.. I am attempting to stick to the Bulletproof diet, and found a bar that is open at 10am with a blender to make my coffee, butter, oil concoction! Tipping early and often brought a smile to the bartender's face since this service doesn't produce a receipt or tip otherwise. Took a bit of work - the Zuiderdam (same ship we took to the Panama Canal in 2012) has been renovated, and is lovely, but still a bit of a maze -and the internet connection still more than spotty. Staff is friendly and efficient, food is good, and the seas are smooth. After traveling with Art and Lillie last year in the Mediterranean and seeing their suite, we decided to try - for the first time - a JUNIOR suite. Not quite as luxurious as theirs, but definitely more spacious for our two week crossing. I took a panorama of the suite (so it looks lots larger than reality) but a nice splurge. We had a report of a subtropical depression near the Azores and of course Joey started to worry but I reminded him that we wouldn't be getting there for 6 days and the stormy seas would be placid by the time we arrived. Have any of you been to the Azores? We will be docking in Horta and Punta Delgada. Suggestions for what to see are welcomed. We have spent a bit of time chatting with the Art staff, and happily, we have no plans of purchasing any paintings. But it is fun hearing more stories about some of our favorite artists (Peter Max and Marcus Glen) because each auctioneer has met and/or befriended the artists and had different experiences to share. More later!

*L* it took me a while to find Joey. He blends in so well with the white sheets. Nice cabin though.
