Paros
The ferry to take us there was over and hour late (the norm for the greek islands) by time we made it to our accommodation it was time to head out again, The accommodation felt palatial compared to Mykonos, it's run by a crazy Irish lady who at first we could not understand as we where looking for a greek accent, ever second word was a swear I have never ever heard someone swear as much as this lady, but still she was a hoot.
Out first night in Paros was a fizzer we all ate diner at a cool greek place followed by some quick sight seeing and off to bed by 12 yeah that's a real early night. However we did have a look around the church with 99 or 100 doors, legend has it that if they ever find the 100th door Turkey will fall back under Greek control, magnificent church, but I think they are still looking.
The next day we had a boat cruise around Paros and Antiparos which was one of the best thing I have every experienced, cliff jumping, swimming in secret beach's, seafood bbq on the beach all you can drink vino, OMG I loved every moment. Then to top it off we went to a bar which serves drinks while you lay in hammocks, I was in heaven!! This was followed by another wicked dinner then we hit the town for a few drink's again, too much fun, some of the boys did not make it back until 8am, our bus was at 10am, killer and this was ment it be the quite islands. Abz and I left the busabout groups for now and have landed in Crete after a 10 hour ferry ride yes 10 hours,
Anyway speak to you all soon
Matt
