Fran writing the blog now as i just arrived about two days ago. Anna and Amy met me at the train station and were holding up a sign saying FWAN they thought that it might mean something rude in czech because people were looking at them funny but it was looked up and it not so it has concluded that it is Anna and Amy that they thought were strange. I also got off at the wrong stop on the way from the airport it was in the middle of no-where and i was thinking either Prague is a dump or i've got the wrong stop so i just kind of wondered around untill i found the metro and kind of figured out where to go, so i took ages to meet them, Anna thought i had died but she wasn't in flods of tears or anything so i was quite offended. We then went to this clock tower and on top of it was a cafe which was so wierd and it looked a bit like professer Trelawny (i dont know if thats spelt right) room out of Harry Potter and we drank all these kind of funny teas but they tasted quite nice, and we felt really hippy sitting cross legged with candles and incence around us. Then there was this massive thunder storm and we legged it to the tram but got really wet and we were quite worried that lightning would strike the tram and kill us stone DEAD but it didn't, obviously.
The next day we went to see some sights, we saw the astronomical clock which is in the photo, they both told me it was amazing but it really wasn't all that happed was these saints appearing in the windows of the clock and this skelton figure pulling a chain, Amy took a picture of my reaction and i am not impressed! We then went on a horse and carriage ride around the city which was nice and scenic but very bumpy, then we went to a chocolate muesum which was interesting especially as we got free samples, and we got to see them making those multi-coloured twisty lollies and it involves quite a lot of skill. We then went for a bit of shopping and they have these amazing Russain doll shops well i thought so but Anna thought they were stupid. In the evening we decided to go to the hostels bar and order some cocktails and they were VERY strong three was enough, we met some interesting people a nice Americana and an Austrailian but also some right idiots including this Austrailan guy who insisted that all English people ate black pudding and kept on yelling BLACK PUDDING at me, and also this really wierd swedish guy who kept on trying to give everyone massages and NO one wanted them. The day after that Amy felt quite ill but we still went to the Jewish quater and saw a Rabi doing his thanng. We then went to look for the castle we could see it but we couldn't get to it which was really frustrating so in the end we gave up. Today we are getting a train to Munich and the office people were so unhelpful about it and wouldn't speak to us because we were English and they ended up yelling at anna and anna said she refused to move until they gave us information but they didn't so we went and asked this other train guy and he told us so they were obviously just withholding information, we hate them. Getting on the train soon its a very long journey so we will probably sleep. Bye!
