After Bali beaches and Bangkok we have now arrived in Kathmandu, Nepal for some more excitement. We've done all our shopping for the big trek - tomorrow we leave for a 17 day trek around the Annapurna range, hopefully concurring the Thorung La pass at 5416 metres. We're both anxious and excited about it. It's going to be hard but worth it...

It is great to be back after 3 years in Esther's case but it is a lot busier and noisier than before. The orphanage where I worked is still there but with lots of different children. We will go there again after the trek, our visit to Pokhara, rafting and Chitwan National Park.

No internet the coming 18 days we guess. We will let you know how the trek was...
