Ok so we checked in at Nomads in Queenstown which is relatively new and was really really nice! probably one of the best hostels we've stayed in! definitely the best bed because the duvet was awesomeee!

I went with Charlotte and Miranda to go and watch them do the Canyon Swing, it was annoying i had to pay to do it but im really glad i did because the swing is in the most beautiful location in a valley pretty much in the middle of nowhere! and the sun was shining and was just gorgeous and was fun watching people throw themselves off the platform! hadnt realised how far down they would go! if i'd had the money it would have been awesome to do! We got back quite late and were trying to get ready to go out in the evening to celebrate charlottes 21st! woo! Holly got very very drunk. lol. me and charlotte walked a guy called Seb back to Nomads after he thought he was staying in base and was trying to get in to base bar (which is where we were) with his room key.. good one!

We enjoyed a lovely lie-in in the morning which was awesomeee! then had a leisurely walk by the lake and came across a chocolate cafe and me and charlotte shared waffles with bananasplit ice cream, cream, chocolate sauce and fruit! HEAVEN and pretty well balanced diet really.. we then spent most the day walking round the shops enjoying the sales! miranda went off for her bungee jump (crazy girl) and holly got bored of shopping and left too! Whilst waiting for miranda to get back we enjoyed a 3 hour power nap... haha wen i woke up i really wasnt in the mood for going to the bars but Dan (a guy from our kiwi bus) was D.J.ing athe world bar in queenstown and i really wanted to go watch him! so i ended up on skype to parentals for a couple of hours and got to world bar at 12.30 in time to see the beginning of dans set. we didnt stay too long because we had to get up for Milford Sound trip in the morning which involved us getting on the bus at 7am :(

The driver of the Milford Sounds trip, Ringo, was really funny and quite good looking so us girls sat right at the front haha. I wanted to sleep on the way there and then he wouldnt stop talking.. never mind! the scenery we went through was amazing and also i've never seen so many dead possums on a road, really gross! AND we hit a bird!!!! it was flying and then just went straight into our bus! it was horrible and we barely missed a few more, these birds had death wishes! was way stressful sitting at the front! When we eventually got to Milford Sound we got on our cruise and had buffet which i was not too impressed with but still its food! was really windy going out on the front but got to see some furry seals which was cool and we then made our way to top deck which was fine and could enjoy the sunshine and the views! On the way back to harbour we jumped off at an underwater observatory which was ok, looking through the glass to the water made my eyes go funny! and we had to sit and wait around for ages for the next boat to come take us back.. The bus back was pretty uneventful, slept a bit and jst listened to music..

As it was our last night in Queenstown the guys we were with decided we had to get really drunk.. so we did! lol we got to Altitude bar first (the base hostel bar) and they bought us jaegar bombs and again.. and we hadour own drinks anyway. we bumped into the bus driver aswell but was bit awkward haha. eventually we all headed up to world bar for lots of teacups and shots! the bus driver, ringo introduced us to one of the bar managers who got us lots of free drinks and also to Bo one of the DJs at world bar who also got us free drinks! lol was awesomeee! Meant I actually talked to a local! not just foreigners/tourists! We all got to bed about 4.30am... i woke up at like 6am needing the loo and couldnt really sleep after. we had to get on the bus at 8am anyway and we were all feeling really rough! bad day to choose to be hungover on a bus seeing as it was also our longest bus journey day.. bad times! we stopped off for lunch at lake Pukaki which was gorgeous with a really odd colour blue and then mount Cook and in the background which was dusted in snow, it all looked really cool! After that i think i just slept til we arrived in christchurch because was just ridiculously tired! and hungover..!
