Hello again!!
so starting from where I finished in Hong Kong, I had my last day at Hong Kong before my flight to Sydney so i went over to Kowloon Park to have a wander round, it was all very nice there until some weird man was following me around the aviary in the Park. Oh God. Freak. he started trying to catchup to me and calling "hello" in some weird accent and started to explain he was from Bangladesh but had been living in HK for 2 years now. He name was Diamond, apparently. Could he go and get some food with me or a drink and also go out and hang out with me. No. No he could not. He wasnt actualy horrible or being nasty, he was just been nice but ew, so i quickly left the park after apologising for leaving the country and not returning for the foreseeable (sp?) future so I would not be able to join him. I got to the airport 4 hours early instead of 2.. so that was pretty boring!!
This was my first Virgin Atlantic Flight!! Was very excited! I got a middle of the middle seat.. how annoying. but turns out i was sitting next to an english guy who was really funny and random (ha ha ha i'm not going to say anything else just incase he reads this!) but yea the flight went pretty fast and the food was soooo good! didnt sleep at all, way too excited! So i got to sydney airport and they had sniffer dogs, but it was ok they didnt notice all my sweeties! and the guys working at the airport were sooo good looking!! I got the train into town and found my way to WakeUp! Sydney, got there around 9am-ish i think, so it was too early to checkin and I was knackered! So i went for a dazed wander around the local area for a couple of hours and strolled through hyde park which was nice an peaceful. After a short snooze in the afternoon i met my new roomies! a french couple, 2 german girls, a guy from holland, 2 finnish girls and an english guy.. i cant remember if there was anyone else! oops. So in the afternoon I went with Kaise and Annina (the 2 finnish) to Belmore Park which is just round the corner from our hostel and we chilled on the grass watching the weird birds australia appears to have and then saw a MASSIVE beast of a bat fly overhead, turns out there is a massive population of flyingbats that live in sydney! very cool!
also found Mi Goreng noodles in a chinese supermarket - best noodles ever!! used to get them at uni but then they stopped suplying them!
anyway i dont have time to write anything else, but will do more later! xxx
