At the moment we are in Hervey Bay. Getting ready to go camping in Fraser Island tomorrow. We are gonna get divided into groups of 10-11 people, get a truck, fuel, a tent and stuff like that and then we are off to the biggest sand island in the world. Lake McKenize here I come! Gonna be awesume. We're staying for 3 days/2 nights, then back to Hervey Bay for a day, then off to Agnes Water. We are travelling like crazy. Im totaly exhausted. Im not use to this speed. In Sydney we had all the time in the world, staying there for more then a month. But now we are always on the road, never staying at one place more then 3 days. Stressful!
Australia Zoo was quite an amazing little zoo. It's not that big, just enough for a daytrip. But it's definitly one of the most well taken care off zoos that I've ever been to. We even got to see a crocodileshow with Terri Irwin (Steve Irwins wife) herself. Besides from having Australian animals like crocodiles, koalas and kangaroos the zoo isn't that special. It's not the biggest one in Australia Zoo either, that's Taronga Zoo in Sydney. In Olands animalspark in Sweden you can buy treats and enter a little closed area with goats and feed and pet them, very popular amongs the kids, it's the same thing here in Aussieworld, except here they have kangaroos instead of goats Hahaha. I really enjoyed watching the wombats, even though all of them were sleeping, lazy creatures those wombats. But very cute indeed, looking like pigs with furr. It was a good day at the Zoo, a very very hot good day.
I still haven't gotten use to the weather here in Queensland. It sooo HOT and humid. I almost don't know what to do with myself at times, especially at nights. It's so hard to sleep in this sticky heat. Last night I hardly got any sleep. And I can't strip and sleep naked either cuz people we're sharing rooms with might get a bit of a shock. Not a good idea. Im afraid it's the same story tonight, laying in bed feeling slightly panicy, feeling the walls getting closer and closer, the heat making it hard to breath..ahh.. Someone kill me please. Or hit me in the head with something hard right before bedtime.
