Hey! So I think we left you in Byron Bay. We got the bus from there at 10am and set off up the coast to Brisbane. We arrived at around 1.15pm - so for a place which looks close on a map it actually took us 3 hours to get there! We got a shuttle to what we thought was our hostel but they didn't have our booking. In Queensland we have booked a package which includes a few free nights and some tours. The compnay was supposed to book us a night in this hostel but anyway they had room so it didnt matter! We put our stuff in and then went for a walk around Brisbane. The area by the river is nice - restaurants and bars etc and we saw some people having some wedding photos done but the rest of Brisbane is just a city really. We came back to the hostel had showers and then went out for a dinner - a rare treat! We had some really nice seafood in a restaurant near the shops in the centre. As there isn't much to do here we decided to go to the Gold Coast today (Monday) and go to Movie World! Its a theme park a bit like Universal in Florida except it is Warner Bros movies! The best ride was Superman rollercoaster which we went on 4 times!! It went from 0-100kmph in under 2 secs!! Tomorrow we leave for Noosa in the morning on our trusty bus so we'll let you know what happens there! Speak soon! Ems and Steve xxx
