Hey! We arrived in Butterworth by train exhausted from our night ride! We got a taxi to Georgetown on Penang. The taxi driver insisted we shouldn't stay in the place we had booked but drove us to another place. It wasn't exactly the Ritz but only cost 10 pounds for the 2 of us! We went to Penang Hill by bus and went up it on the funicular train. There wasn't much to do up the top except look at the views and it was a bit cloudy. On the way down the train it poured with rain - it was quite refreshing though! We had a nap in the afternoon as we were so tired from the journey. In the evening we had dinner in a shopping mall and had a look around. We also had a walk through China town! We get the ferry to Langkawi tomorrow! Ems and Steve xxx
