Hi

I'm still in Bangkok but leave later today to go to Sydney, am really looking forward to it.

Although I booked a ticket, I never made it to the beach yesterday, when I got to the pick up point they said that it was impossible to get to the beach (Koh Chang)and back in a day! I was not best pleased as the lady in the hotel travel agent said I could go and return that evening! Must admit I was a bit gutted as was really looking forward to it. Instead I went for a long walk, had a ride on the taxi boat and ended up in a shopping centre, before heading back.

There is not much going on today as it is the start of the new year here, so lots of places are closed. Will probably spend the next few hours in the hotel until I get picked up to go to the airport.
